The migration of ASEAN's worker to Japan: The impact to the social, culture and politic of Japan

The research will analyze the causes and consequences of the recent dramatic increases of migration from Malaysia and selected ASEAN countries (Thailand and Philippine) to Japan. The research aims at learning some general characteristics of the migrations, and linking them to theoretical explanations of migration and its place in the process of globalization. The research main question is, how do Malaysian and selected ASEAN countries migrants enter to work in Japan both legally and illegally? And what are the possible consequences for the receiving countries, in terms of social, cultural and political change? To answer these these questions, the researcher have to do some field research both in Japan as a host country and in Malaysia and selected ASEAN countries (Thailand and Philippine) as a home country. Three equation has form as hypothesis to answer these question.The output of the study shown that the largest number of ASEAN country's emigrants, will be created more social problem and also affected the culture changed to the Japanese society than the smaller number of ASEAN country's emigrants

Investigating the Impact of Community-Based Health Insurance Scheme among the Rural Dwellers of Sokoto State, Nigeria

The purpose of this paper is to examine a few sample data on the investigation into the impact of community-based health insurance scheme among the rural dwellers of Sokoto state. Thus instrument such as content and face validity, reliability and data normality were also examined based on the revised version by expert, a few data were analyzed using the statistical software SPSS version 18. The result reveals that the instruments are reliable and the data for pilot study show evidence of rational normality. Performance of Border Management Personnel and Its Security Implications in Northern Nigerian Borders: A Pilot Study for Reliability and Validity of Instruments

Border management has become a central issue in the contemporary global arena. In spite the presence of agencies responsible of border patrol, yet there is still growing number of challenges on how border will be managed effectively in Nigeria. The objective of this study is examine the validity and the reliability of measurement instruments of staff development, organization policy and funding of staff welfare that influence the quality performance of border management personnel in Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS). The study employed survey approach in collection of data via 71 usable questionnaires in Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS). The validation and reliability of all constructs is determined for the acceptability of instruments using SPSS version 8, Cronbach’s Alpha indicated that all the items are valid and reliable in conducting the study. Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) is one of the most important agency tight with the responsibility of Border management, Although the agency perform many functions other than patrolling borders ranging from issuance of e- passport and visa as well as checking travellers document. The organization played a significance role in controlling movement of illegal immigrants and other organised criminal activities in border zones. As border management become a central issue of concern in the contemporary global arena. In spite of the existence of many agencies of border management, still it is confronted with a lot of challenges as a result of increasing flows of people, goods and services across regional borders. The porosity of Nigerian borders coupled with manpower challenges that can properly mount the border affect the economic growth in the country. Massive influx of illegal immigrants with proliferation light arms and many form of contraband goods organized criminal activities, affect national security and economic development in Nigeria especially in the north/eastern part of the country as focal area of this study considerable number of questionnaires was distributed in the field and the data was analysed quantitatively using PLS Statistical package. In the conclusion this study suggestions would be given more concern of investigating a proper way to improve the performance of personnel in Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) in order to achieve the purpose of this study. The Way forward for Community-Based Health Insurance Scheme in Funding Health Care among the Rural Communities of Sokoto State, Nigeria

Health  care financing in most of Sub-Saharan Africa is based on out-of-pocket payment from the rural dwellers.”This out-of-pocket payment has caused a lot of health troubles such as premature deaths, maternal problems, deficiencies in health issues in Sub Sahara countries. This report examines issues pertaining to health financing in Nigerian rural areas in order to encourage people in SSA to implement “Community-Based Health Insurance Scheme in the rural regions.” “It’s been significant because it offers a chance for the citizenry to be out of poverty as a result of high money paid whenever they are assessing health care through out-of-pocket payment at the point of service delivery. “This schema is a raw area of health financing in the developing countries supported by the World Health Organization (WHO), World Bank (WB) and the International Labor Organization (ILO) among others.” Few of the SSA countries like Ghana, Mali, and Burkina Faso are doing well using the scheme to finance health care delivery in the rural regions. “In Nigeria, this concept of community-based health insurance plan is a new development. Thus, an attempt should be attained to create consciousness about this commendable project.” The management of the CBHIS should focus on the rural dwellers on one hand, and government should provide enabling laws on the other. The important factors of tourism development in Singapore

This research paper will analyze the development of tourism industry in Singapore in which it focuses on the increasing number of tourist visit to Singapore, that contribute a significant source of tourism sector’s income and its role to generate the Singapore’s Gross Domestic Product (GDPS). The research aims to examine general characteristics of Singapore’s tourism industry and its role within the process of globalization. By applying the theoretical explanations, this research will observe several main questions: How the tourist locates Singapore as a tourist place and how they enter Singapore. In addition, what are the possible consequences on Singapore especially the influence on its National Income? The field research has been conducted at the most popular location of tourist area. Three equations had formed the hypothesis to answer those questions. First, the output of the study has shown that the price of consumer index (Index) have influence the increasing number of tourist to Singapore (TouS) in a positive way. Second, there are many other factors that contributed to the tourism sector’s income, however, the output of this study revealed only the total number of hotels in Singapore (HoS) is the major factors that contributed to the tourism sector’s income (ImS)

Evaluasi Program Pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) LAZISMU Magetan dengan Pendekatan Diagram Kartesius

This study aimed to determine the effect of zakat empowerment with MSMEs on the economic people empowerment according to the mustahik perceptions. This research used descriptive analysis with Cartesian coordinate approach. The results showed that the quality of LAZISMU in the MSMEs empowerment program in each dimension of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy was almost entirely good quality. The tangible dimension can be shown through the ease of procedures for submitting assistance and the period of its realization. The suitability between everything described by the officer with the reality on the reliable dimension is the main priority factor. The politeness, friendliness and communication skill of officers in the empathy dimension are factors that must be maintained. While transparency in providing information on survey results on the assurance dimension is a low priority factor. The monitoring on the impact of empowerment on the responsiveness dimension and the strategic location of the LAZISMU office on the tangible dimension was considered excessive. There is an effect of zakat empowerment with MSMEs on increasing the people's economic income in terms of service quality according to the perceptions of mustahik. This research suggests LAZISMU Magetan for accelerates the realization of assistance proposals and the ease in applying for assistance

The way in which the information is presented in the corporate annual report is important, for it determines the readability and understandability of the report. An appropriate form of information presentation helps to improve the effectiveness of the communication process. Information, if presented in an appropriate form, is able to guide viewers’ interpretation to particular outcomes. This will improve the communication efficiency and also enhance the quality of decision-making.The annual report, in the past few decades, has evolved from a financially -driven document to one used to construct a corporate image, to the extent that financial statements are relegated to a technical “appendix”.The front half of the report is used to influence and manage the way in which the information is presented to readers.This paper examines the presentation formats of photographs, graphs, tables, and text in pages prior to the financial statements section of the National Annual Corporate Report Award (NACRA) best presentation annual reports 2000–2010.The discretionary material is mostly textual, followed by photographic, tabular, and graphical presentation.This study not only adds to the accounting literature on voluntary disclosures involving photographs and graphs in particular, but also potentially benefits those companies competing in the future NACRA competition in improving the way in which the corporate information is communicated

Kolok and Rantau Panjang are examined with the objective to measure the cross-border economic activity and its impact on the local population, particularly in employment opportunities and poverty eradication.Both towns are a shopping haven among local and foreign tourists and have the potential to become leading cross-border tourism of Malaysia-Thailand border.The Eastern Corridor Economic Region development plan implemented by the Malaysian government and the Southern Border Provinces Special Zone by the Thailand government can sustain cross-border economic development in the future.Security assurance in Southern Thailand will intensify the economic activities in the town of Rantau Panjang and Sg. Kolok.This has spill over effect in the border area by creating economic opportunities,employment and income in both area
